Bexley Mill, Bexley Village, c. 1920

Bexley Mill, Bexley Village, c. 1920

A farmyard behind Bexley Mill in Bexley High Street.

The Cannon family owned the Mill from 1839 to 1907. The family also owned other mills including one in Erith.

In its later days Bexley Mill was used for making sacks but in May 1966 was destroyed by fire.

The present building is a reconstruction and is used as a restaurant.
