Blendon
Road, Old Bexley looking east towards the
hamlet of Bridgen.
Blendon Cottage was behind the trees on the
left and to the right were the grounds of
Blendon Hall, which was built in 1763.
In the 1930s the Blendon Hall Estate was purchased
for development by D C Bowyer and the house
was demolished in 1934.
