High Street, Crayford, 1955

View
from the top of Crayford Hill, near St Paulinus
Church, looking down the High Street and southeast
towards Dartford Heath.
The 'One Bell' Public House is the white building
in the right foreground which was built in
1770.
'The Limes', the large house to the left of
the One Bell, was badly damaged by fire in
1995. It has since been rebuilt to once more
enhance this historic area of Crayford.
The second photograph is detail from the first. |
