This map shows the rapidly growing suburb of Sidcup intruding itself into the vill-age of Foots Cray.

Streets of new houses have been laid out off Sidcup Hill named after various English counties.

Merton Court School has opened on Knoll Road and stands beside a set of smart residential prop-erties.

In the village itself the brick works has disappeared.
