School cottages in Rectory Lane (formerly Church Road). The present School Cottages replaced twelve former cottages of the same name arranged in blocks of seven and five.

An elderly inhabitant asserted that the original building had been a rope factory, but no corroborative evidence has been found, although the division into separate dwellings was later than the original buildings.
