The village store, Foots Cray High Street.

The sign can be seen on the right for the Red Lion public house. This has been said to be an establishment of some notoriety, built in 1823.

It is also said that the inventor Thomas Edison once stayed there whilst visiting Sir John Pender at nearby Footscray Place.

The second and third images are detail from the first.
