Walton Road was one of the smaller developments in 1930s Bexley and Sidcup.

It was unusual in that the builders passed the job of marketing and sales to an agent, and because the houses were all of the larger chalet type they were priced towards the top end of the market.

Like other developers, Ray was able to provide the potential purchaser with finance.
