Master
plan of Thamesmead. Completed in the 1970s,
Thamesmead was an ambitious social and architectural
experiment aiming to relocate 60,000 Londoners
in a new suburban community.
It was designed by the Greater London Council
architect's department employing an entirely
prefabricated system of construction. |
