St.John's Church, Welling, was built in 1926 on a corner of Danson Park. It replaced an earlier cor-rugated iron structure erected by Alfred Bean in 1869.

The simple brick design lacks a steeple or other embellishments, but this serves to give added emphasis to the War Memorial which stands to the right of the church door.
