Described by the developers of the Park Langley estate, H & J Taylor, as 'the jewel in the crown of the garden city of Park Langley', the golf club opened in 1910.

Initially owned by the developers, they used the Langley Park mansion as their clubhouse but, following a disastrous fire earlier in the year, this new building opened in 1913.

Reformed in 1919 as a members' club, it continues to thrive today.
