Sited on the corner of Willow Grove, Double's, the butchers, was located here from 1926 to 1970.

Prior to that the building had been a grocers. It was originally built as a private house, Scadbury Villa, probably in the 1880's.

It remains in retail use although the rear of the building was recently demolished.
