Opening in the 1930s as the Mottingham Gospel and Medical Mission, an offshoot of the Brook Lane chapel (opened in 1928 by the Bethren Assembly, serving the London County Council Mottingham Estate), the church continues to be combined with a Christian Medical Centre today.
