The Grange,
Mottingham Lane, Mottingham, 1986

|
|
One
of the earliest of Mottingham's Victorian
houses, built before the arrival of the railway
in 1866.
For many years it was the home of Sir George
and Lady Woodman, well known local philanthropists
who named it 'The Grange'. Sir George had
made his money as a merchant tailor.
Although extended on a number of occasions
it retains many original features. |
