Kingsway, Petts Wood, 1954

Kingsway, Petts Wood, 1954

Kingsway was built by Noel Rees, a prolific builder, who built extensively in the mock-Tudor style.

This view looks west along King's Way into the valley of the Kyd Brook, one of a number of small streams that drained and, occasionally, flooded the area.

Note the unmade road - a common characteristic of Petts Wood - and the sign advertising the showhouse.
