of Blackheath Park, taken in 1940.
1. No.25 Blackheath Park, a neat Georgian
villa built in 1821, part of the Cator
Estate.
A view of the simple façade with
its symmetry broken by the later conservatory
extension on the left.

2. Nos 41 - 51 and 55
- 59 Blackheath Park.
Nos 41 - 51 were built as a three terrace
group c.1825 and Nos 55 - 59 was built
in 1826.

3. No 99 Blackheath Park
was built in 1837.
This is a view of the imposing facade,
with dressed stone work around the windows.
In 1936 it was converted into eight
flats.

4. No 107 Blackheath Park
was built in 1837.
A room over its large garage was converted
into a small cinema in the 1930s.
The entire site was cleared in 1961
to make way for Sweyn Place.

5. No 101 Blackheath Park
was a large house built in 1835.
The imposing front elevation is seen
here with dressed stone between floor
and windows, and an elegant balcony
over the main entrance.
It was converted into flats post 1945.

6. No 115 Blackheath Park
was built in 1838 at the Kidbrooke end
of Blackheath Park.
A neat, early Victorian Villa it was
demolished in 1961 and Eric Lyons' Span
Estate, called 'Park End' was built
on the site of this old house and its
grounds.
