By 1869 West Greenwich, Deptford, and the fringes of Blackheath were developed.

In East Greenwich the Morden College East Greenwich Estate is prominent as is the smaller "Tyler New Town" area centred around Tyler Street and Walnut Tree Road.

However, further east of Greenwich Park are the, yet to be developed, areas of Westcombe Park, Eastcombe Park, Charlton, and to the north, the riverside marshes.

To the southeast are the fields of Kidbrooke.
