Plumstead Baths, 1912

The young lady with the centre part and pigtails in her hair (detail below) is Florence Louise Carter, Corin's first cousin twice removed.

Plumstead Baths provided more facilities than a swimming pool and washing facilities, as can be seen from this photograph, which was retrieved from Australia and provided to us by Corin Mills.

An inscription on the photograph (now removed) informs us that it depicts an "L. R. A. Children's Tea and Concert, 30th March 1912".

There is also a credit (removed), which reads: "Biddle, 1 Griffin Road".
