Cottages and Hutments, Well Hall Road, Eltham, c. 1920

The site of all these buildings now covered by shops in Well Hall Road between the Tudor Barn and Well Hall roundabout.

These cottages and hutments stood between Kidbrooke Lane and the Progress Estate.

Nell Gwynne's (sic) cottage, probably 17th century, was demolished in 1923.

The hutments were built for Royal Arsenal workers in World War I, and were demolished c.1930.
