Well
Hall Road, Progress Estate, Eltham, 1915

|
|
Well Hall Road on the Progress Estate was built by the government in 1915 for Woolwich Arsenal workers. The architect was Sir Frank Baines.
The long frontage of houses seen here was
a mixture of many styles based on the 'garden
suburb' architectural trend of that time. |
