|
|
A
cluster of houses attractively juxtaposed
in an irregular arrangement, designed in a
mixture of styles based on the 'garden suburb'
architectural trend of that time.
Part of the Estate built by the government
in 1915 for Arsenal workers and later named
Progress Estate by the Royal Arsenal Co-operative
Society. The architect was Sir Frank Baines. |
