Holmewood Gardens, Brixton Hill, c. 1920

Holmewood Gardens, Brixton Hill, c. 1920

Holmewood Road and the houses along it were built to retain the shape of the existing properties with this stretch of road running parallel to the line of the houses on Upper Tulse Hill.

A row of terraced houses in Holmewood Gardens, Brixton Hill.

A view showing the corner of the small triangular green on the left around which the terraces were built, originally part of a large ornamental garden lying adjacent to the Congreg-ational Chapel and Sunday School.
