The Times Furnishing Shop seen soon after it opened at Nos.230 - 234, Brixton Road.

The buildings to the left have remained virtually unaltered to date, as has the Crown and Anchor public house on the corner.

However the furniture shop premises have been completely rebuilt and are now occupied by the British Red Cross.
