Note the delivery carts on the right, including a three-wheeled milk cart outside the dairy. This side of the road is now the site of the Slade Gardens.

On the opposite side of the road the buildings have been replaced by a large Lambeth housing estate comprising Weyland House, a 14-storey block of maisonettes, as well as two and three storey apartment blocks.
