Lincoln House, Clapham Park, Clapham, c. 1870

Lincoln House, Clapham Park, Clapham, c. 1870

Lincoln House was demolished in 1905 and replaced by Rodenhurst Road and the houses on the west side of Clarence Avenue.

Lincoln House was rebuilt and occupied between 1826 and 1851 by Thomas Cubitt, builder of the much heralded and much maligned Clapham Park Estate

Later it was the family residence of Dr. Isaac Seligman.

This view shows the gatehouse and a youth on a tricycle.
