Crystal Palace, originally built in 1851 for the Great Exhibition at Hyde Park, was reconstructed here in 1852 - 1854, and burnt down in 1936.

The 'All Red Route' train, was part of the internal circuit at the Palace, seen here at the South Africa and Pageant Station.
