Holland (Caldwell) Street, Kennington, c. 1920

Holland (Caldwell) Street, Kennington, c. 1920

None of the cottage style terraces and shops on the left are to be seen now, having been replaced by a school at the junction with Hackford Road.

Holland Street, later renamed Caldwell Street, looking towards Brixton Road.

A few of the Victorian apartment blocks on the right have survived, but beyond Hackford Road the buildings on both sides of the road have been replaced by the Caldwell Gardens Estate.
