George Pratt & Co., Boys Outfitters, Streatham High Road.

The main Pratts depart-ment store was the largest shop in Streatham. It was situated opposite in purpose-built premises called Eldon House from 1867. It was demolished and rebuilt to house the Lidl supermarket and Argos Store in 1996.

The Boy's tailoring branch of Pratts probably catered for pupils from the many schools in the area.

It was the site of a MacDonald's fast food outlet through the latter part of the 20th century which, in turn, closed in 2003.
