Map of the Downham Estate as planned in 1923

This plan shows the Downham Estate as conceived by C. Topham Forrest, the London County Council's architect, in 1923, the year before building work began.

The plan also shows part of the 'Whitefoot Lane Site', an extension of the estate to the north, which was not built until the late 1930s.
