Catford is served by two adjacent stations: Catford (left of the two stations on the map above right) on the Catford loop line of 1892 (from Bromley to Victoria) and Catford Bridge on the Mid Kent line of 1857 from Hayes to Charing Cross and Cannon Street.

Catford Bridge straddles both the Ravensbourne River and the Mid Kent Railway.

In the background is the Town Hall and on the left, the Railway Tavern, now the Copperfield.
