The Maples, Lewisham High Street, Lewisham, c. 1880

Its last occupant was Frederick Frost. It was demolished c.1892 and the site redeveloped as small terraced houses and shops.

The Maples was one of the earliest and most substantial villas on the east side of Lewisham High Street. Its site covered part of the modern George Lane and Roxley Road.
