Bridge House, George Row, Bermondsey, 1935  

The Bridge House stood at the north end of George Row, near the river just east of St. Saviours Dock.

It was a large detached house that did not keep its prestige for long as it was surrounded by the appalling slums of Jacob's Island and was sub-divided into tenements.

The building was demolished in the 1950s.
