The
first photograph is of late Victorian terraces
which are typical in two ways. Firstly, they
are of the style of the time and secondly,
they replaced earlier buildings.
North Camberwell is very much a middle working
class suburb. The flat-fronted London-roofed
terraces in the second photograph, at the
junction of Wells Way and Coleman Road, are
typical of houses of the 1840s. |
