Lyndhurst Square, Peckham, 1840

These detached Gothic-style villas were actually built around 1843.

They were unusual in their location in that most previous desirable development had been along main roads while these were in a purpose-built secluded square.

They are among the earliest Gothic-styled houses in Peckham.

The ground floor rooms detailed on the plan for each property are 'Dining Room', 'Hall' and 'Withdrawing Room'.
