Looking towards what is now Rectory Lane from Foots Cray High Street.

This road was once known as Church Road, as the road leads to All Saints Church.

Note the three storey houses on the left-hand side of the road in Rectory Lane. These are Grade II listed buildings dating back to 1737.

Now known by their former name of Belgrave Place, they have been restored by a local builder, who uncovered inglenook fireplaces with original salt holes.

This photograph was badly damaged and has been necessarily trimmed. The unretouched version can be seen here.  The second and third photographs are detail from the first.
