Haymaking in a field opposite St.Hildas Church, Crofton Park.

There was increasing house-building in Brockley at this time, and the new houses in Crofton Park Road can be seen beyond the hayfield.

This field was part of the Brockley Hall land, and was not built on until the 1930s.
