Bridge House, George Row, Bermondsey, 1935

Bridge House, George Row, 1935

The Bridge House stood at the north end of George Row, near St. Saviours Dock.

It was a large detatched house that did not keep its prestige for long as it was surrounded by the appalling slums of Jacob's island and was sub-divided into tenements.

The Building was demolished on the 1950s.
